Autumn Leaves

A blazing sunset
A fuzzy tiger
A basket of oranges
Tangerine-flavored popsicles
The steady warmth of a bonfire
Copper pennies
Pumpkin pie
A candle flame
A fluffy orange tabby cat
The inside of a cantaloupe
Tiger lilies
The heat of a warm summer day
Hot coals
The feathers of a legendary Phoenix
Soft peaches
Monarch butterflies

Ebony Rose

Stones of onyx
The feathers of a raven
The vast, beautiful midnight sky
A dark, murky swamp
Black lipstick
Cold-blooded hatred
A tar pit
A block of lead
The wings of Erebus
A coffin
Eyeliner
Shiny obsidian
A trench coat
Negative energy

Ivory Moon

A supernova exploding in the abyss of space
White roses
Venus, the planetary Goddess of Love
A silver moon and star pendant
Love letters
The calming clouds that lazily drift through the sky
The tiny frozen space rock known as Pluto
White candles
A bracelet of pearls
Tears of joy
Sun-kissed daisies
A comet piercing through the black cloak of space
White dwarf stars
The Sun that warms me and
Brightens my day, very similar to your presence
Your eyes and how they look under a black light; Summer of 2009.

Pomegranates
Peppermints
An antique brick house
Red wine
Sparkling rubies
Mars, the God of War
A blood red moon
Flowing auburn hair
The eyes of a mouse
Roses that symbolize romance
The crimson blood dripping off a killer's fingers
A stack of bricks
The wax used to seal an envelope
Sweet cherries
A red candle for a love spell
Strawberries; Spring of 2009.
Half Life

My life was unbearably at risk tonight
To save your was an inexperienced fight

If your life would dare to be forsaken
My desperate soul would slowly be taken

The tension combines my tears with your blood
Since we'll soon be drowned by Death's flood

Baby you threatened me; you threatened your life
I would end what's left with this rigid knife

From myself, it was me you always saved
But then my life you had almost betrayed

Why would you leave my like this in despair?
Please tell me baby, why? This isnt fair

I'm sorry babe, you have to know I really tried
Forget the tears for that I've already cried

I embrace you as your soul slowly vaporizes away
My being will cease to exist after this dreadful day

Please listen when I say you're not to blame
Only because we cant help it that we're insane

Between us, you always enjoyed the laugh
Remember baby, you are my other half


The Kiss of Death

Locked up inside his mind,
The gateway to his sanctuary.
Or is it the Kiss of Death?
Escaping reality,
Or Hell as he knows it,
Only to find the same thing every time.
To hear those same voices
Screaming
Ripping
Taking
Hating
Creating
Destroying
Controlling

And each time a new negative thought
Comes slicing through like a paper cut.



Dissipate

There you lie,
Alone not to be disturbed
At a fist glance,
Anyone would think you're simply sleeping.
The air surrounding you may be quiet,
But your thoughts spiral out
Screaming, Help!
Then soon, your mind becomes dark
As your existence vaporizes into thin air...



Do You See?

Shattered lives and memories
Of the damned and forsaken
That beg to be forgotten.
Don't you see?
It's all mischief.
But really it's bottled up rage.
Anger.
Hate.
Pain.
Questions.
Lies - Or so you call them.
Disbelief.
More hatred.
Tension.
Confusion.
Silence.
It's just bottled up rage,
Waiting to explode.
When unleashed,
You finally see.
Or do you?
